Kenedi Lost And Found
Želimir Žilnik
Serbia, Germany, 2005, 26’
Two years after completing Kenedi Goes Back Home, Želimir Žilnik accidentally stumbles upon his lead character, Kenedi Hasani, in Vienna. Kenedi then proceeds to retell the dramatic story of his recent past: he scaled the walls of Fortress Europe to be reunited with his family and was caught while illegally crossing the border between Hungary and Austria. After months spent in a deportation centre, he managed to escape, but Austrian officials are about to send him back again to Serbia.
