The living conditions of the immigrants in Calais, north of France. A population in transit, filmed over a period of three years (July 2007 to January 2010). The film reveals how the police exceed the law. Refugees, displaced persons, undocumented immigrants and also unemployed workers are treated like criminals, stripped and divested of the most elementary rights, reduced to the state of “mere bodies”.
