After the screening of Nheengau – A Língua da Amazônia, Doclisboa invites director José Barahona, researcher Rodrigo Lacerda and Edson Baré, indigenous leader and director of the education service at FOIRN, Federation of the Indigenous of Upper Rio Negro, to a discussion around the film and focusing on ethnographic representations, identity issues and colonial traces. A perspective on the past, present and future of the communities living in the Upper Rio Negro region, Amazon.
