Abandoned by the man for whom she had fallen in love, Christine is in a desperate situation: pregnant and antagonized by family and village. After a failed suicide, she seeks shelter in the city, where a friend’s mother houses her with terrible intentions. Based on an Italian film that was being screened in his own theatre, Gogitidze had the idea to produce Georgia’s first fiction film, which renowned theatre director Tsutsunava was called to direct.
