Didube, the Last Stop

Once a terminal station of the Tbilisi underground and an important interface of regional transportation, Didube lost its status and movement. Niko is a shopkeeper harshly hit by that change, both belonging to and watching a small universe of stalled characters at a time that moves on without them. The Didube everyone knew—and the one in which they don’t see themselves—remains in the songs of Nodar that punctuate this curious, tender documentary.
