“The tower was an iconic place in the village of Ksuisi. That’s where the kids went when they skipped school, the men met for a drink, the couples hid for a kiss. After the Russian-Georgian war of 2008, the village was occupied by Russia, but the tower remained on the Georgian side.” The director made this note on the absurd and the desolation for a project that gathered war testimonies.
