Verão Coincidente

António de Macedo
1963 • Portugal • 14’

The starting point of Verão Coincidente is the heat. The film includes a poem by Maria Teresa Horta and reveals the uniqueness of the director’s experimental approach: “The film breaks away from the current canons of our production. (…) it is a film with a modern face, featuring an abrupt, glaring editing of unheard-of images” (Luís de Pina).
