Nebulae
Nebula – a diffuse cloud of interstellar dust or gas or both, visible as luminous patches or areas of darkness depending on the way the mass absorbs or reflects incident light or emits its own light. Some nebulae come from the gas and dust thrown out by the explosion of a dying star. Other nebulae are regions where new stars are beginning to form.
Nebulae is the industry-oriented project and networking space at Doclisboa. It is a group of activities, gatherings, opportunities and people for the advancement of the creation, production and dissemination of independent film.
In 2021, Nebulae presents a hybrid structure. On-site activities will take place between the 21st and 25th of October, with live streaming and/or recorded sessions for online attendees. Until October 31st, the online platform nebulae.doclisboa.org, will allow film professionals to access online events, recorded activities and projects in development part of the Croatia – Invited Country and Arché programme, as well as request individual meetings.
