His bylines include Cinema Scope, The New York Times, Film Comment, Sight &amp; Sound and Filmmaker Magazine. Worked with the Toronto and the Vancouver international film festivals and Hot Docs. Curated retrospectives for Doclisboa, TIFF Cinematheque, Northwest Film Forum, Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema and Vancity Theatre. Taught workshops on film and film criticism. Former content manager for MUBI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ana Bel\u00e9n Asfura <\/strong><br \/>\n(Suimanga Films, Chile, Canada)<br \/>\nShe founded her production company, Suimanga Films, in 2015 and has represented film projects in their co-production, financing and distribution agreements in several film markets in Europe, North America and Latin America. Currently, she is working as an international consultant in the design and planning of distribution and marketing strategies for films and film institutions, as well as jury and committee member of the Chilean Film Fund.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christopher Small <\/strong><br \/>\n(Czech Republic)<br \/>\nChristopher Small is a writer, filmmaker, and curator, originally from the United Kingdom but based in Prague, Czech Republic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u00edntia Gil <\/strong><br \/>\n(Programmer and curator, Portugal)<br \/>\nStudied at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School and has a degree in philosophy from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto. Co-director and then director of Doclisboa from 2012 to 2019. Head of Sheffield DocFest from 2019 to 2021. Curated contemporary and historical film programmes, retrospectives and exhibitions. Member of the board of Apordoc \u2013 Portuguese Documentary Association since 2015 and a jury member at international film festivals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joanna Solecka<\/strong><br \/>\n(Alphapanda, Poland)<br \/>\nFilm marketing and social media strategist with over 15 years of experience. Head of Alphapanda Warsaw, a Polish division of an international film marketing agency specialised in digital campaigns for the film industry. Also works as a film marketing expert and mentor for training programs and film schools. Member of the advisory board of the Documentary Association of Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Juliano Gomes<br \/>\n<\/strong>(Brasil)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Juliano Gomes has a degree in film and a master\u2019s degree in aesthetic technologies from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro where he studied the work of Jonas Mekas. He is a film (Cin\u00e9tica Magazine) and theatre critic. He teaches film and criticism history. He directed several short films, and he completed the feature film Aterro in 2019 together with L\u00e9o Bittencourt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luana Melga\u00e7o<\/strong><br \/>\n(Anavilhana, Brazil)<br \/>\nBrazilian Luana Melga\u00e7o is a partner at Anavilhana. She worked as a producer or executive producer on more than 20 short and feature-length films, notably Girimunho (2010), Sopro (2012), A Cidade onde envelhe\u00e7o (2016), Enquanto estamos aqui (2019) and Brief Story From the Green Planet (2019). Her films have been screened and awarded at the main film festivals in Brazil and abroad, and commercially released in several countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madeleine Molineaux <\/strong><br \/>\n(Picture Palace Pictures, USA)<br \/>\nMadeleine Molyneaux is a creative producer and curator based in New York and Los Angeles. Her company, Picture Palace Pictures, founded in 2004, works closely with emerging and established international visual artists, musicians and filmmakers, to develop, produce and represent films and hybrid moving image works that often defy easy categorization. She is currently developing a feature film based on the life of the poet Charles Bukowski.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mandy Marahimin<\/strong><br \/>\n(In-Docs, Thailand)<br \/>\nIndonesian film producer, working for Tanakhir Films. Her latest feature documentary, Islands of Faith, was released theatrically and is now on Netflix. She also works as an investment analyst for Ideosource Entertainment, a venture capital firm that funds films, and is currently the interim director of In-Docs, a non profit organisation whose mission is to grow the documentary film ecosystem in Indonesia and South-east Asia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mar\u00eda Vera <\/strong><br \/>\n(Kino Rebelde, Argentina)<br \/>\nArgentinian producer, festival distributor and sales agent. Founder of Kino Rebelde, a company focused on creative distribution of non-fiction and hybrid narratives. Her films have been selected and awarded in festivals as Berlinale, Rotterdam, IDFA, Visions Du R\u00e9el, Hot Docs, Doclisboa, Mar del Plata and Viennale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lu\u00eds Fernando Moura <\/strong><br \/>\n(Janela Internacional de Cinema, Brazil)<br \/>\nCurator and programme coordinator at Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife since 2015. Collaborated with the Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival (2017-2019), the Belo Horizonte Documentary and Ethnographic Film Festival (2018), Brasil Dist\u00f3pico (2017) and L. A. Rebellion. Is working on a doctoral thesis on curatorial practices and dissidence. Writes about cinema and has been jury and committee member.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marion Schmidt <\/strong><br \/>\n(Documentary Association of Europe, Germany)<br \/>\nHer field of expertise is in project management and organisational development in the international documentary, arts and development sector. She is the co-director of the Documentary Association of Europe and co-founder of DOX BOX. Marion is part of initiatives that champion anti-racism, equality, fair working conditions and representation in the film and NGO sector, and the society at large. She holds a master\u2019s degree in arts administration and cultural policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zeynep G\u00fczel<\/strong><br \/>\n(Documentary Association of Europe, Turkey)<br \/>\nManaged Turkey\u2019s first private documentary fund and programmed the industry workshop Doc Lab from 2016 to 2019 in the scope of the Istanbul Film Festival. Has been working as workshop expert and trainer on industry platforms like DOK Leipzig Industry and Meetings on the Bridge in Istanbul. Has been a senior consultant at the DAE since its foundation.
