House of Others

Soon after the civil war in Abkhazia, a couple and their son move into a house in a deserted village, ignoring the presence of another family in the neighbourhood that watches them apprehensively. Alien houses are wild territories, filled with memory and pain, which none of the participants in this tale of dubious guilt and geography is able to remedy. All that is left is the deaf violence of lost wars, which the films examines in depth while summoning everyone.
