In Hell with Ivo

Hailing from Bulgaria, a conservative country where virtually no one is openly gay, emerges the flamboyant performance artist and musician Ivo Dimchev. Although he has found success across Europe, Ivo feels compelled to remain in his home country, where he is most judged. Despite being HIV positive, he performs in people’s homes over 400 times when the COVID-19 pandemic hits, risking his life like a sacrificial lamb for an audience that consumes him. Rejected by his family, Ivo invites us into his life, displaying himself with no shame and embracing his narcissism, sex addiction and confrontational nature.
