One to One: John & Yoko

One to One: John & Yoko

Kevin Macdonald, Sam Rice-Edwards

On August 30, 1972, John Lennon played his only full-length concert after leaving The Beatles: the rollicking, dazzling One to One show with Yoko Ono in New York City. Oscar-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald’s documentary uses that event as a starting point to explore eighteen defining months in the lives of John and Yoko. Featuring never-before-seen material and restored footage of the concert, filmed in a meticulous recreation of the NYC apartment the couple shared, it offers a fresh perspective on a pivotal period in the lives of two influential artists.
