Carbón

Nivardo and Ismael, more than seventy years old, are producing charcoal to survive in the current economic context of Cuba. Night after night, the two friends guard a process of change, hidden behind a thick smoke. Surrounded by darkness the two friends fight and do not give up in the face of dangerous and exhausting work. Only the mutual support allows them to continue. Exhausted, they are distracted for a moment and risk the fruit of their efforts.
