Doclisboa, the Reina Sofía Museum and FIDMarseille present the result of the Joaquin Jordà artistic residencies annual programme for the first time. It is meant for filmmakers and artists working in the field of essay film, experimental film and the various expressions of non-fictional film. The programme aims at supporting the inception, development and production of cinematic objects in the scope of non-fictional film, funding its execution and establishing international debating networks, and pays tribute to Joaquin Jordà (1935-2006), whose original work was a landmark of non-fiction film. The 2022 awarded artists—Leandro Listorti (A Certain Civilization, Argentina) and Elise Florenty & Marcel Türkowsky (In Search of the Boojum, France, Germany)—are invited to meet the professionals during Nebulae.
