This table explores the lasting impact of William Greaves’ work, an essential reference point in American cinema. Spanning fiction, documentary, television and experimental works, his films reveal his commitment to social justice, historical memory and freedom.

Co-organised with Cinemateca Portuguesa and with support from the Luso-American Development Foundation.
The session will be held in English, with no translation. Free admittance. Tickets must be collected on that day at the venue.

David Mark Greaves has an award-winning career that spans filmmaking, publishing, and corporate management.  He is President of William Greaves Productions and the publisher of Our Time Press, an independent NY based newspaper.

Liani Greaves is an independent producer, strategy consultant and professional coach. She is Vice-President of William Greaves Productions and producer of the ONCE UPON A TIME IN HARLEM film.
