Film critic and programmer. Founder of the magazine Letras de Cine. Has contributed to Cahiers du Cinéma, Cinema Scope, SoFilm, La Vanguardia and Caimán. Has curated several retrospectives (Gonzalo García Pelayo, Rita Azevedo Gomes, Francisco Regueiro) and edited books on Claire Denis, among others. Has lived in Buenos Aires since 2017 and is a member of the programming committees of BAFICI, SEMINCI and the Directors’ Fortnight.

Filmmaker and artist from Dublin, Ireland. His films have screened at festivals across Europe, Asia and the Americas. In 2016, he won the Jury Prize at the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts. Saturn and Beyond won the Georges de Beauregard International Award at FIDMarseille in 2021, while If I Fall, Don’t Pick Me Up received a Special Jury Mention in 2024.

US filmmaker. Creates works that defy genre through the use of hybrid forms and collaboration, incorporating essay, poetry, performance and collage. Her 50 features and shorts explore the relationship between personal observations and broader historical experiences. Working from a feminist perspective, she investigates connections between the body, the camera and the materiality of film itself.

She is currently working in the post-production of Skin of the Sky and editing End of the Present, part of the 2026 Joaquim Jordà Residencies. Her hybrid work draws on myth, migration and experimental forms to explore liminality, colonial legacies, and human/non-human world.

Programmer at the Toronto International Film Festival, selecting films from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. Has curated retrospectives and special screenings at the Reina Sofía Museum, the Spanish Cinematheque, the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, the Museum of the Moving Image in New York, as well as the TIFF Cinematheque in Toronto.

Brazilian director, playwright and screenwriter. Born in Fortaleza, he divides his time between Lisbon and his hometown. His films have been screened at festivals such as Locarno, Rotterdam and Brasília. He is a PhD candidate in performing arts and moving image and has directed the feature films António Um Dois Três (2017), A Vida são Dois Dias (2022) and Greice (2024).

Actress and screenwriter, born in Porto in 1991, and trained at ACE (Portugal) and ALRA (United Kingdom). Co-wrote and starred in By Flávio, directed by Pedro Cabeleira, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2022 and won a Sophia Award in 2023. Has collaborated with directors such as Daniel Soares, Ivo M. Ferreira, David Pinheiro Vicente and Carlos Conceição. In 2025, starred in Entroncamento, directed by Pedro Cabeleira, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

Programmer, writer, producer and filmmaker from Toronto, Canada. Founder and former editor and publisher of Cinema Scope magazine as well as the former head of programming for the Berlinale and the Locarno Film Festival. Is currently producing a series of short films for the National Film Museum in Turin, curating a screening series, and writing a book on films and museums.

Also writes for film and television. Lives in Lisbon with her two daughters.

Documentary filmmaker. Graduate of the DocNomads Erasmus Joint Master (2015-2017) and PhD student in media arts at Lusófona University. Has worked on oral history, folklore and cultural heritage in northern Portugal for a decade. Her film Histórias de Lobos (2018) won several awards worldwide and was eligible for the Oscars in 2019.

Worked as a programmer at the Chicago International Film Festival, and as a programmer and assistant coordinator of the industry programme at Curtas Vila do Conde. Has also moderated master classes and Q&A at Porto/Post/Doc, and ran a biweekly screening series in Chicago.
