Fuck the Polis

News of a fatal illness takes Irma to Greece, the land of clarity, where she embarks on a journey dictated by the god Apollo and guided by sacred sites. Some twenty years later, Irma revisits this Apollonian pilgrimage. Based on João Miguel Fernandes Jorge’s short story (which draws inspiration from a personal account of that journey) and the director’s experience, Fuck the Polis takes us to the Greek islands, between voices and seas, stones and dances, winds and temples, ruins and corroded gods.
