With the support of the Ibermedia Programme, Arché Doclisboa, — Apordoc’s space for development and creative thinking — brings together film projects by Ibero-American directors in workshops led by Andrés Duque (VE/ESP), Beli Martínez (ESP), and João Nicolau (PT). Through pitch sessions with professionals, one-on-one meetings, and networking activities, the programme also includes the awarding of prizes aimed at supporting the development and production of the projects.
Arché also hosts the selected projects from RAW – Residências Arché→Work, a travelling programme developed in collaboration with the Márgenes Festival (Madrid) and organised by Apordoc and Cine en Ruta. Targeted at Ibero-American filmmakers and critics, the programme spans from Arché/Doclisboa to the Doc’s Kingdom international seminar (Odemira) and MÁRGENES/WORK (Madrid), combining mentorships, consultations, and dialogue spaces with other filmmakers. On the criticism side, it also includes the production of essays based on films programmed at the festivals.
The residencies in Lisbon are mentored by Tiago Hespanha (creation) and Pablo Marín (criticism).
