Naturalist Claudio Gay returns through the body of filmmaker Ignacio Agüero to find a plant he failed to catalogue in 1830. His first stop is a lagoon drained ten years after his visit, where he meets the Chilean countryside and its legends.

Director / Editor / TeacherDocumentary filmmaker and editor, born in 1976 in Porto. As a director, proposes himself as an ‘observer-builder’ of documents, drawing from the intimate everyday lives of characters and territories. Among his films, stand out A Nossa Forma de Vida and Viveiro, both awarded at Doclisboa. Edited more than 70 films and collaborated on theatre pieces. Bridging cinema, research and teaching, his career is marked by international recognition.
