Doclisboa is part of Doc Alliance, a network of 7 major European film festivals: CPH:DOX, Doclisboa, DOK Leipzig, FIDMarseille, Ji.hlava IDFF, Millennium Docs Against Gravity and Visions du Réel.

As of this year, four complementary markets of these festivals — FIDLab, Ji.hlava New Visions, MDAG Industry and Doclisboa’s Nebulae — launched the Doc Alliance Network of Markets Platform to strengthen the support for European audiovisual creation.

The Doc Alliance Digital Market Platform serves as a centralised hub accessible to accredited film professionals from the four Doc Alliance Markets, allowing all members to follow the progress of the projects year-round.

By fostering collaboration between the four markets, we aim to enhance the visibility of the selected film projects throughout the year and to reflect the regional diversity that spans these European industry events and their connections with the wider world.

At each of the four industry events, one project will be selected to receive the Doc Alliance Network of Markets Label. As part of this recognition, the project’s director will be invited to present at one of the other DA markets.

This year, Nebulae welcomes one project from MDAG Industry (Millennium Docs Against Gravity): Eyelashes and Sand Crystals by Daryna Mamaisur.
