This year, Doclisboa will once again offer accessible screenings of Michael Ogden’s film Becoming Madonna.
Featuring previously unseen photos, footage and newly discovered audio recordings of the pop superstar, the screenings will be accessible to blind or visually impaired people and deaf or hearing-impaired people, and will take place at Culturgest on 19 and 25 October. The film will be screened with audio description and descriptive subtitles, available through an app, in a consultancy project by AMPLA with the support of Culturgest.
Tickets for these screenings can be purchased via the links available in the sidebar on this page.
Note: before the session, you must download the desired resource via the Greta app on Google Play or the Apple Store on your smartphone. For audio description, bring your own headphones; for descriptive subtitles, request mobile phone support at the entrance to the room.
