Apordoc – Associação pelo Documentário announces the opening of the call for proposals for the 11th edition of ARCHÉ – Creative Thinking and Development Space, which will take place between October 20 and 26, 2025, in the context of Doclisboa – International Film Festival. Applications are open between May 19 and June 9, 2025.
ARCHÉ is a laboratory dedicated to authorial film projects in development, with a strong connection to reality and a documentary matrix. It is aimed at directors from Latin America, Portugal and Spain, whose projects propose an authorial and critical exploration of the possibilities and limits of cinematographic creation.
Over the course of a week, participants will have access to an intensive program that includes:
- Project development workshops with international tutors;
- Project presentation sessions;
- One-to-one meetings with industry players;
- Access to all the activities at Nebulae, Doclisboa’s industry space, including Round Tables and networking meetings.
The selected projects are also eligible for the ARCHÉ Awards, with support aimed at boosting the development, production and completion of the works.
