Doclisboa is part of Doc Alliance, a network comprising seven of Europe’s leading film festivals: CPH:DOX, Doclisboa, DOK Leipzig, FIDMarseille, Ji.hlava IDFF, Millennium Docs Against Gravity, and Visions du Réel.
Starting this year, four complementary markets from these festivals—FIDLab, Ji.hlava New Visions, MDAG Industry, and Nebulae, Doclisboa’s industry space—have launched the Doc Alliance Network of Markets Platform.
The Doc Alliance Digital Market is a platform with centralized information, accessible to film professionals accredited in the network’s four markets, allowing continuous monitoring of project progress throughout the year.
All Nebulae accredited professionals can access the platform directly through their Eventival account. This will allow them to view the details of Nebulae projects, as well as all other projects selected in the four complementary markets, and to contact the directors and producers.
By promoting collaboration between the four markets, the aim is to increase the visibility of selected projects throughout the year and reflect the regional diversity that characterizes these European industry events.
At each of the four industry events, one project will be selected to receive the Doc Alliance Network of Markets Label. As part of this recognition, the project’s director will be invited to present their work at one of the other markets in the network.
This year, Nebulae is hosting a project from MDAG Industry (Millennium Docs Against Gravity): Eyelashes and Sand Crystals, by Daryna Mamaisur.
