Cunha Telles filmed the experience carried out after the 25th of April 1974 in the fishing community of Meia Praia, in Lagos: between 74 and 76 a project was tried out which involved replacing the traditional houses with stone ones and trying to establish a fishing cooperative. Os Índios da Meia Praia features Zeca Afonso’s famous and beautiful song of the same title.
