Two actors are seated at a table, on the surface of which their images are reflected like their doubles; three long monologues each, spoken quickly, as if answering an interviewer. They are archetypes rather than film characters. They are the confessions of perpetrators, deriving from the real testimonies of those who once helped to organize mass extermination: a nihilistic philosophy of the all-too-humanness of the inhumane.
