The archipelago of Cape Verde and its society developed, throughout their ethnological formation, a mixture of cultures that transformed and recreated the original elements with others brought by cultures from different latitudes. Nôs Dança is a journey with the dancer and choreographer António Tavares in search of the dances spread throughout the archipelago, from traditional rhythms to contemporary styles. An encounter with other dancers, musicians and several people who preserve stories and knowledge of the dances and rhythms that gave origin to several genres that enriched the Cape Verdean genesis.
