The visual nature of the sound of a mother’s voice summons historical and affectional landscapes. Long discussions between a daughter—the director—and her mother. The images are as free as the curiosity that nurtures the talk, that produces questions, and that reveals possibilities of the past and the present. A handheld camera in an intimate space, a house that keeps objects that are also memories, and where mirrors reflect the body in the process of shooting. Moments envisioned with equal freedom, guided by a poem or a song. Time overpasses them and overpasses us.
