Joaquim Jordà Residencies

Doclisboa, the Reina Sofía Museum and FIDMarseille present the result of the Joaquim Jordà artistic residencies annual programme. It is meant for filmmakers and artists working in the field of essay film, experimental film and the various expressions of non-fictional film. The programme aims at supporting the inception, development and production of cinematic objects in the scope of non-fictional film, funding its execution and establishing international debating networks, and pays tribute to Joaquim Jordà (1935-2006), whose original work was a landmark of non-fiction film.

The 2023 selected artists—Richard Shpuntoff and Serge Garcia—are invited to present their projects and meet with professionals during Nebulae. The 2024 edition winners will be announced by representatives of Doclisboa, FIDMarseille and the Reina Sofía Museum.
