ARCHÉ IS BACK WITH MORE THAN 350 PROJECTS SUBMITTED

Arché, Apordoc’s project development lab, will take place between October 19th and 25th during Nebulae, the industry programme of Doclisboa – International Film Festival.

This year, 354 projects from 20 Ibero-american countries and Italy have applied and 15 were selected (12 film projects and 03 research and criticism projects) – they come from 10 countries and are all in different stages of production.

A pitching session exclusive to film professionals with a Nebulae accreditation will take place on October 21th. In the following days, the participants will be working with tutors and will attend a series of meetings with film professionals to foster new business opportunities.

From the 22th to the 25th, participants will be attending project development workshops with tutors Helena Girón (director and professor, Spain), Nicolás Rincón Gille (director and professor, Colombia), Tiago Hespanha (director and producer, Portugal) and Salvador Amores (programmer and critique, Mexico).

RAW – Residencies Arché→Work, the training programme and artistic residencies co-organized with Márgenes Film Festival (Madrid, Spain), will take place from October 19th to November 28th. Three film projects and three research projects were selected from 5 Iberoamerican countries (Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Spain and Mexico). This year, RAW – Residencies Arché→Work has a new experience as part of the program: after the residency in Lisbon, the participants will take part in an immersion with the mentoring of Tiago Hespanha, from November 16 to 23, in the Residencia El Azahar in Trujillo. This stage of the program aims to provide a space dedicated to socializing and collective creation. The last part of the programme happens in Márgenes Film Festival (November 24 to 28).
