Apordoc – Portuguese Documentary Association is now accepting submissions for the 12th edition of ARCHÉ – Space for Thought and Creative Development, which will take place from October 18 to 25, 2026, as part of Doclisboa – International Film Festival. The submission period runs from April 1 to April 30, 2026.
ARCHÉ has established itself as a space for guidance and reflection dedicated to independent film projects in development, with a focus on creative documentary. It is aimed at filmmakers from Latin America, Portugal, and Spain who propose a singular and critical perspective on the possibilities of cinematic creation.
Over the course of one week, selected projects take part in an intensive programme that includes working sessions with international tutors, public presentations, one-on-one meetings with industry professionals, and access to Nebulae, Doclisboa’s industry platform, which features roundtables and networking opportunities.
Participating projects will also be eligible for the NEBULAE Awards, designed to support the various stages of development, production, and completion of the films.
With the support of the Ibermedia Programme, ARCHÉ continues to foster collaborative networks across the Ibero-American region, contributing to the development of independent cinema. The regulations and application form are available HERE
