Audácia! is divided into three parts. The first is a documentary by Reichenbach in which we cross the streets of Boca do Lixo, meeting producers and directors from Cinema Marginal. The second part, A Badaladíssima dos Trópicos x Os Picaretas do Sexo, is a fiction by Reichenbach in which a female filmmaker struggles to direct her first film. In the final segment, Antônio Lima presents a film about filmmaking, including a summary on the history of the dissident and coexistent movements Cinema Novo and Cinema Marginal.
Producer Sara Silveira will be present in the screening. She co-founded with Carlos Reichenbach the production company Dezenove Som e Imagens.
