Fake Blonde

In his last film, Carlos Reichenbach returns to ABC Paulista, a peripheral region with textile and metallurgical plants (also portrayed in Garotas do ABC), exploring the dreams and wishes of a group of young female workers. The main character is Silmara. She lives in a game of appearances that becomes increasingly untenable, with Reichenbach dismantling the fables Silmara imagines for herself, as well as the film itself, which crosses several genres: melodrama, comedy, musical and social chronicle.
