“There was nothing, and then fiat lux.” The evocation of light, which was the raw material of the work of the Man of Light during his film career, takes him to new reflections on its mysterious nature on a pilgrimage that interweaves personal memories and metaphysical questioning to the end of Cosmos. In Objectos de Luz, we travel through the images of some of the 150 films in which Acácio de Almeida imagined and directed the photography, and which were directed by João César Monteiro, Paulo Rocha, António Reis and Margarida Cordeiro, Raul Ruiz, Rita Azevedo Gomes and Teresa Villaverde, among others.
