In the late 1960s, teenagers Ana Paula and Lydia and youngster Teresa spend their vacations on a farm at Dois Córregos, in the hinterland of the state of São Paulo. There they meet Hermes, Ana Paula’s strange and fascinating uncle, who has been involved in far-left actions. Their encounter shall have a deep impact on the lives of everyone. Most of the film, which starts in 1990, when Ana Paula returns to Dois Córregos to retrieve the house that belonged to her parents from squatters, is dedicated to this flashback. A drama that subtly interweaves politics, desire and nostalgia.
