Arché, the space for development and creative thinking by Apordoc – Portuguese Documentary Association, brings film projects from 9 countries—Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay—for guidance and mentorship by relevant contemporary filmmakers.
With the support of the Ibermedia programme, the participants present their films for an exchange of experiences with industry and film professionals. The RAW project—Arché Residencies→Work—is a training and artistic development programme organised by Apordoc and Cine en Ruta in partnership with the Madrid festival Márgenes. This year, it returns with an added stage: a trip to Odemira after Doclisboa to participate in Doc’s Kingdom in November, before concluding the journey in Madrid.
We cannot thank Largo Residências and Hangar – Artistic Research Center enough for hosting the artistic residencies in Lisbon yet another year, and we are grateful to the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal for the significant award to support the projects’ development, as well as to our industry partners, whose awards encourage and strengthen the creative process of the participants.
