For 11 years, Adelina, a young trans woman, lived confined to her family home in Georgia, where LGBTQ+ rights are severely restricted and social life is shaped by the conservatism of the Orthodox Church and violence from right-wing extremist groups. Fearing for her safety, her parents kept her hidden from the outside world. She eventually flees to Vienna, hoping to live freely. As she builds a new life, she faces a past that refuses to let her go. Through immersive imagery and the mother-daughter bond, the film explores belonging and the complexity of freedom beyond physical liberation.
