Apocalypse Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, and the Day After Tomorrow shows an ordinary man living in the Ukrainian town of Nikopol, a prime target for Russian weapons, who remains in his homeland even when each day might be his last. The protagonist of A Song Without Home is a young trans woman who has to flee to Vienna, fearing for her safety in Georgia, where LGBTQ+ rights are severely restricted and social life is shaped by the conservatism of the Orthodox Church and violence from right-wing extremist groups. Two reflections on belonging, humanity and freedom.
