Born Out of Death is a political poem dedicated to the Palestinians and Lebanese wounded during the Israeli air raid on an overpopulated quarter of Beirut on July 17, 1981. Palestine Red Crescent Society is a testimony of the effort to build a secular, pluralistic society, based on the participation of the people. Children of Palestine shows that three decades of war and occupation had denied Palestinian children the basic human rights. Monica Maurer and Samir Nimer address the systemic causes of violence, formulating arguments for the necessity of a fight for liberation.
