Nieves is a woman with a mental disability who works at an industrial laundry on the outskirts of Madrid. She has lived in an apartment in a working-class neighbourhood with her sister since their mother passed away. Years ago, she underwent tubal ligation surgery. Since then, her only wish has been to own a rabbit.
