A grown man goes to the sea for the first time. A long fairytale road, a meeting with a fair-haired woman, a small island in the middle of the sea—all this shimmers and crumbles in a lo-fi image and in the halls of road and memory. Meanwhile, somewhere in an empty modern city apartment, a young man tries to call his father, in an attempt to touch something lost forever. The film unfolds with the cadence of that liminal space where falling asleep gives way to dreaming, journeying through the image-islands of a fragmented past, reappropriated by the young figure through the shiny portal of a laptop screen.
