A couple throw themselves into a sailing race lasting several days and nights on a large lake, giving it their all. Lake Geneva has been painted by Turner, Courbet and Dürer. Inspired by their works, Aragno creates a composition in which faces are shot like landscapes and landscapes like characters, achieving an emotional impact reminiscent of silent cinema. “We can hear the voice of this life in the roar of the waves, the breath of the air, the passing clouds, the lonely cry of the birds. But this requires a demand from the heart and that deep inner turmoil that nature provokes” (Fabrice Aragno).
