It is spring and there have been mirages along the Spanish coast. A young French woman travels to San Sebastián to observe these visual phenomena. There, she meets a mysterious Portuguese woman who tells her a story from her youth about her sister’s obsession with a young man glimpsed from afar and a gaze capable of turning the world upside down. This is the debut feature film by Bingham Bryant, whom we saw in 2025 in Rita Azevedo Gomes’s Fuck the Polis. In a San Sebastián conjured up through calm and precise observation, the characters weave tales, moving between physical and poetic spaces.
