During a shift at a blood bank in a Cuban province, Yilma, a nurse, extracts, classifies and preserves donated blood. When her workday is interrupted by an eerie presence, the scientific process turns her routine into a contemporary ritual, gradually blurring the boundary between matter and spirit.
