Promotion of non-fiction, from production to distribution: a dialogue on practices and strategies
This encounter addresses some of the challenges of promoting independent non-fiction films from the perspective of Serbian producer Iva Plemić Divjak (Horopter Films) and Argentinian sales agent María Vera (Kino Rebelde). Coming from low production capacity regions and unpredictable political contexts, they aim to share the issues they face in their daily work. Their dialogue will focus on the practical dilemmas of the first steps in creating a promotional strategy, emphasizing the importance of improvisation and alternative solutions when it comes to making a debutant project visible.
