The Filmmaking Seminar returns in this edition of Nebulae. Designed in collaboration with UnionDocs (UNDO) – Center for Documentary Art, the programme highlights the UNDO Fellowship 2022 fellows, which are the filmmakers Deborah Stratman and Miryam Charles, scholar Lakshmi Padmanabhan, author Sukhdev Sandhu, writer Ashon Crawley, writer/editor Jas Morgan, as well as artists Crystal Z. Campbell and Thirza Cuthand.

From October 23 to 26, between onsite and online activities, the goal of the Seminar is to explore radical filmmaking practices and the documentary film expanding languages. Every day there will be dedicated film screenings and work sessions, which will be led by a different researcher and involve representation issues at the heart of the investigation carried out by each fellow. The participants will dive into those challenging researches based on formally provocative documentary works and be encouraged to share their ideas, experiences and perspectives divided into discussion groups and through brief creative exercises.
