Despite the success of Reed, Leduc in 1975 is still a struggling author of one feature. The Secretariat of Public Education commissioned him to make three educational documentaries. This piece belongs to his simplest yet most elegant works. A documentation of rehearsing musicians allows the camera of Ángel Goded to master choreography yet to become Leduc’s signature. The interpreters are not only the acclaimed musicians as soprano Guadalupe Pérez Arias and harpsichordist Luisa Durón, but also those invisible workers who make and tune instruments. Bach returns in Barroco and La flauta de Bartolo.
