Mudanza

The project? Pay tribute to the Spanish poet Garcia Lorca, a friend of Dali and Buñuel’s, shot on August 19, 1936, in front of his family house by Francoist militias, with the assassins making the body disappear forever. The project: empty the residence, the Huerta de San Vincente, near Granada, nowadays turned into a museum. Remove all its furniture, handing it back to the whiteness of its walls, doors and windows to turn it into a cenotaph, a tomb without a body, providing Lorca’s ghost with a last grave, where he spent his childhood, and which left a decisive imprint in him as he often said.
