In the future, a couple hides from their pursuers in the archaeological ruins of Tulum, on the beaches of Cozumel and in the hubbub of a plaza day in an indigenous village. Hinted by Ray Bradbury’s story The Fox and the Forest (which takes place in Mexico) and supported by the Department of Tourism, this short belongs to Leduc’s most eccentric ventures, oscillating between sci-fi, tourist documentary and celluloid madness. The paradisiacal natural scenery of the Mexican southeast is shot by the cinematographer Ángel Goded. This film marks the beginning of his life-long collaboration with Leduc.
