Lean on the Wall

In financial precariousness, and following the promise of a contract, Bernard (played by Meilleurat himself) takes on the task of recording his memoirs for an editor. His life has been marked by sexual abuse and violence. He uses a tape recorder, while posing, leaning against the wall and dancing. The darkness of his narrative is brought to life through the magnetic interplay between the filmmaker, the camera, his images and his voice, at times punctuated by light, serenity and tenderness.
