El General constante y la bella Féferes

Jaime López—author of the delirious album El General Constante, a landmark of Mexican rock—and Cecilia Toussaint are the stars of the third episode of the series Con la música por dentro. Both of them are part of Leduc’s universe. It is impossible to imagine Los animales without their voices. In Frida Toussaint played the artist’s sister. Here we listen for the first time to the duo’s sublime La Primera Calle de la Soledad, written by López and immortalized by Toussaint’s voice. No wonder that exactly this song stitches different layers of time in the glorious closing performance in Barroco.
