Tirarse al monte

Alfonso Ungría

Spain, 1939. When life becomes impossible, there are only two options left: either grand adventures (including revolution) or introspection (inner escape, quietism). At the top of a desolate mountain, a diverse group of people live together: a pregnant woman, a nonconformist, a mystic… The challenging coexistence is further strained by the arrival of a young couple. The characters survive, moving between two worlds. The mountain is a metaphor for their cries of pain and protest, their dreams.
